Before Reviewing an Article, Please Take a Look at the Following Notes:

  • Articles that are reviewed according to your field expertise. The reviewer can notify the editor and recommend a reviewer for this case;
  • The review process must be completed within two weeks. If the reviewers agree and require a more extended period, notify the editor as soon as possible or suggest an alternative reviewer;

Pre-Review Process

  • Editor of Studium Biblicum will check the submitted manuscript in terms of grammar, writing procedures, and conformity with the Focus and Scope of Studium Biblicum;
  • Editor of Studium Biblicum will examine whether the author's manuscript includes the Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Methods, Discussion, Conclusion sections;
  • Editor of Studium Biblicum will examine whether the references of the manuscript contain primary references and use more than 70% bibliographies of journals article;
  • Editor of Studium Biblicum will check for the plagiarism of the manuscript;

Peer Review Process

  • Articles submitted to Studium Biblicum will be reviewed by at least two blind reviewers appropriately qualified experts in the field selected by the Editor-in-Chief;
  • The Editor in Chief or a designated member of the Editorial Board may decide to accept, reject, or request revisions based on the reviews and comments received of the reviewers;
  • Editors will decide whether each submission reports well-conducted research with conclusions supported by the data presented in the manuscript. 

PUBLICATION FREQUENCY

Studium Biblicum is open for everyone who wants to share her/his theological ideas in terms of developing local theology. The editorial board publishes this journal twice a year, in May and November. Studium Biblicum publishes a minimum of five articles in one issue.

OPEN ACCESS POLICY 

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

All the works in this journal are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License that allows others to share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format) for noncommercial purposes with appropriate credit to the work's authorship and proper citation of the initial publication in this journal.

The author retains copyright and also agrees to grant Journal Studium Biblicum the right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0).

The author is permitted to reuse or post items submitted to this journal on personal websites, institutional repositories, or other purposes such as further research, lectures, or class discussions with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in this journal. 

PUBLICATION ETHICS OF Studium Biblicum

For Author(s)

  • The author(s) should ensure that they have written original works;
  • Manuscript found with such problems of plagiarism are automatically rejected, and author(s) are so advised;
  • Authors should not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal or publication concurrently.
  • When a manuscript is submitted for possible publication, Authors should not submit the same manuscript to any other journal;

For Editor(s)

  • Editorial Board of Studium Biblicum is responsible for identifying and preventing the publication of manuscript with research misconduct such as plagiarism;
  • Editorial Board of Studium Biblicum ensure that the assessment of submitted manuscripts is based on the manuscript's intellectual contents without discrimination in gender, ethnicity, citizenship, religion, etc.;
  • Editorial Board of Studium Biblicum is required to evaluate manuscript based on the content;

For Reviewer(s)

  • The review comment must be respectful of the author(s). The reviewer is required to justify their decision and recommendation;
  • Reviewer is not allowed to show to or discuss with others except as authorized by the editor;
  • The reviewer should identify relevant published article journal that has not been cited by the author(s);
  • Reviewers assist the editor in making editorial decisions and through the editorial communications with the author may also assist the author in improving the manuscript;
  • Reviewers should also call to the editor's attention any substantial similarity or overlap between the manuscript under consideration and any other published manuscript of which they have personal knowledge;
  • Privileged information or ideas obtained through peer review must be kept confidential and not used for personal advantage;
  • Reviewers should not consider manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest resulting from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships or connections with any author(s), companies, or institution(s) connected to the manuscript.

PUBLICATION FEE

Journal Studium Biblicum does not have article publication charges (APCs), submission charges, or another fee. We process all articles free of charge.

PLAGIARISM TOOL CHECKER

The Studium Biblicum journal uses Turnitin to check the plagiarism of articles submitted to the journal's website.
