Kajian Etis-Partisipatif terhadap Keharusan Gereja Mendukung “Israel” berdasarkanGalatia 6:15-16

Peristiwa Israel yang menyerang Palestina telah memantik beragam tanggapan masyarakat dunia, termasuk juga di Indonesia. Salah satu tanggapan yang paling mencolok adalah tindakan untuk memboikot produk-produk tertentu yang diyakini menjadi pemberi modal kepada Israel dalam penyerangan tersebut. Sebagian besar masyarakat meyakini, kalau peperangan yang menafikan kemanusian adalah hal yang salah. Kendati demikian, terdapat dilema dalam memberikan tanggapan terkait isu global ini, terutama ketika dibenturkan dengan janji rekonsiliasi Israel yang dinyatakan di Alkitab. Artikel ini akan mendalami solidaritas ruang perjumpaan kosmik, yang memayungi seluruh ciptaan termasuk Israel dan gereja. Tidak luput juga, teks Galatia 6:15-16 diteliti untuk menguak, siapa yang dimaksudkan dengan Israel kepunyaan Allah dan keterkaitannya dengan ciptaan yang baru. Puncaknya, gagasan etis-partisipatif digunakan untuk menekankan solidaritas yang seharusnya dilakukan sebagai ruang perjumpaan kosmik dalam menyikapi isu global ini. Gereja dan Israel memiliki suatu ikatan sebagai umat Allah, tetapi kemanusiaan tetap memiliki ruang khusus di dalam keterhubungan ini.
